“We cannot wait to release this in our theaters. We see the value and know that the film is a multi-cultural sensation…a must see."
- Dan Harkins, owner of Harkins Theatres USA

Harkins Theatres presents the exclusive release and theatrical run of "The Human Experience,” opening Friday, April 9th   in Phoenix, Denver and Dallas/Ft. Worth locations. Select show times at seven theaters will conclude with exclusive Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, opening weekend (see schedule below).
"The Human Experience" is Grassroots Films first full-length feature documentary. Two brothers, determined to find meaning in their lives, embark on a global journey that will change them forever. Weaving together eye-opening encounters with the homeless of New York City, abandoned orphans of Peru, and lepers of Ghana, Africa, with riveting commentary from humanitarian, academic and religious experts from all backgrounds - the film portrays the beauty found in each person and celebrates the resilience of the human spirit.
By word of mouth only, Grassroots Films has been contacted and contracted to screen "The Human Experience" at private pre-screenings throughout the world, including three European tours. To date the film has been viewed by more than 100,000 people at over 200 pre-screenings in 102 cities worldwide. The response has been overwhelming. With standing ovations as the norm, “The Human Experience” has organically created a buzz that has resulted in over 30 film festival awards and accolades, including Best Documentary Feature at the Maui Film Festival, Grand Prize for Best Feature Film at Toronto's Moving Image Film Festival, and Best Documentary Feature at the New York Independent International Film & Video Festival.
“The Human Experience is a film everyone should see; I just saw it (3/10/2010) to a sold out, standing-ovation crowd of several hundred in Times Square. There is a youth audience for this film and very multi-cultural,” commented Amy Doyle, Sr. Vice President of MTV Networks.
In an astounding trend, "The Human Experience" has initiated a desire to repeatedly see the film, but has not yet been available to the general public - until now. “The Human Experience” makes its official theatrical release April 9th, at Harkins Theatres in Phoenix, Arizona (Chandler Fashion 20, Shea 14 & Arrowhead Fountains 18), Denver, Colorado (Northfield 18), and Dallas - Ft. Worth, Texas (Southlake 14). The filmmakers will be present for audience Q&As at several shows, opening weekend. Hi, my name is Katherine and I live in Ottawa, Ontario. From the moment I viewed the trailer for this film I knew I needed to see it with my own eyes. The story and message that is being shared is truly inspiring and is one that everyone must hear. So in saying that I was just wondering if the film would be coming up to Canada anytime soon?
